This is Tammy's cute flowery quilt. She said she got real tired of appliqueing little circles in the center of each flower, but I would say it was worth it.
Tammy's workmanship is excellent, which makes my job a lot easier. This was quilted with Invisifil thread, which I am growing quite fond of.
This will be entered in our guild show at the end of June.
Nearly finished with my pile of quilts for our guild show.
truly beautiful Jan. Have you had any issues at all with the Invisifil? I'm trying to love it, but it isn't always there...
ReplyDeleteI put Bottom Line in the bobbin when I use it, and loosen the top tension if necessary. Works great!
DeleteGorgeous quilting!, beautiful quilt.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done.. you think the same way I do ;)
ReplyDeletelol...I love invisifil...awesome thread, this will be a show winner for sure...
One very lovely quilt, enhanced by your stitches. I love your traditional meets modern style.
ReplyDeleteI'd say appliqueing all those flower centers was worth it too! Another quilt I look forward to seeing in person.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, do you know if there is a pattern, and where to get it?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt and quilting. Thanks for the info on invisifil thread I will defenetly try it.
ReplyDeleteEvery once in a while a quilt screams out to you "make me"! For me that was this quilt. It's absolutely gorgeous - from the piecing, color selection and, of course, the quilting. Please, do you know if a pattern is available for this quilt? I've been searching the web for two days now without success.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is Blooming Shades by Planted Seed Designs.
DeleteThank you for the reply. I'm off to Google it now!
