I am so very sorry and saddened by this news. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and my heart goes out to you at this very sad time. I will light a candle for you and for your beloved Peter tonight.
I am so sorry to hear about Peter. What a wonderful gentleman and all of us that had the opportunity to get to know him loved him. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Michele Donoho
Jan I have been following your blog for quite a while; you inspired me to make a storm at sea quilt and eventide, although the quilting didn't turn out to be anywhere near as exquisite as yours. So sorry to hear about Peter's battle with cancer; you both seem like kindred spirits. May God bless you - prayers and hugs for you and your familiy.
Jan, I am so very sorry. I started reading your blog quite some time ago, but I lost my own sweet husband May 22, 2011, and I fell out of the blogging & quilting loop for about a year or so. I just started catching up on everyone again. Sending you a big hug as you move forward in this journey.
Jan, I've been reading your blog (I LOVE your work) for a couple of years. I am so sorry you lost your beloved husband. I hope the hole in your soul fills with the peace and love of friends and family quickly. ~Jillian in North Dakota
I'm new to quilting and I came accross your blog a few months ago. You inspire me with your talented works. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. ~Mary in Okinawa, Japan
I just joined your site. I am so sorry to read about you loosing your husband. I too, lost mine after many yrs. So, I know the pain in your heart. My prayers are for you at this time. I love your quilting.
Today was my first visit to your blog. I enjoyed the first page I was reading being sent there by Carmen's Quilts on Facebook that I click on Home so I could read more. Oh my gosh. I came across this simple post and just cried and cried. Such a simple, beautiful and sad post. Hugs to you and prayers.
I lost both of my parents during the last quarter of 2012. My dear friend told me after the passing of my dear father that just all of a sudden something would trigger my tears and she was right. So I apologize for crying, but it was over your loss, not mine.
((hug))
